Ed Chapin, Jay Wheeler, Jill Sullivan: San Diego Trial Lawyers

San Diego Litigation Law Firm

Chapin Wheeler LLP was formed in 2005 by San Diego trial lawyers Ed Chapin and Jay Wheeler. The firm's mission is to represent businesses and individuals as plaintiffs in complex and high-stakes matters that cannot be handled efficiently by larger firms with higher fees and more rigid hourly billing rates.

San Diego Trial Lawyers

Chapin Wheeler LLP offers its clients exceptionally high quality legal services provided by seasoned San Diego lawyers with extensive trial experience. These services are delivered from a smaller, more streamlined legal operation. Efficiency and low overhead allow Chapin Wheeler LLP to offer financially attractive and result-oriented billing and fee arrangements tailored to each particular engagement.

Both Mr. Chapin and Mr. Wheeler are accomplished San Diego trial lawyers with extensive experience trying a broad variety of cases. They have tried a combined total of over 100 jury trials and numerous other bench trials and arbitrations. Both have been partners in large, prestigious law firms handling highly significant, complex legal matters. They are assisted by senior associate Jill Sullivan.

Mr. Chapin was most recently a partner at Gordon & Rees, where he was a principal trial lawyer for Southern California.

Mr. Wheeler spent over 20 years in the litigation department of Latham & Watkins as one of its most active trial lawyers. He was the Chairman of the San Diego Litigation Department of Latham & Watkins from 1996 to 2000.

Ms. Sullivan received significant litigation experience while working both at Latham & Watkins in San Diego and for Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal in Kansas City.

Chapin Wheeler LLP employs other top-notch associates and paralegals with similar big-firm experience in complex litigation.
